Save Money and Waste Less Food

Today we are going to start saving money on groceries and stop wasting food.

Three of my favourite ways to save money and stop wasting food:

1. Shop with a list and a plan. No impulse or aspirational buys!

2. Only splurge on 5 to 10 items (ever). Here’s my list of splurge-worthy ingredients.

3. Have a Flex Night once a week.

Flex Nights are for eating leftovers (don't forget to reinvent instead of just reheating), eating up what's already in the fridge, freezer and pantry, or (if all else fails) making a Back Pocket Dinner.

This one solution alone will save you hundred of dollars a year in wasted food.
